Smarter turn-by-turn, fairer subcontractor sharing, and clearer exports
This release makes in-vehicle navigation smarter, tightens what each company sees and shares with its subcontractors, and improves your reporting and route management. Several exports and settlement views are now more accurate too.
New
- The Routes page now shows a red warning bar when addresses assigned to you aren't on any of your routes; click it to see the full list, grouped by the business that assigned them, with search and paging.
- Subcontractors can now see the photos on addresses assigned to them in the web app and driver apps, including the pictures the address was set up with by the owner.
- Every address photo now shows who uploaded it (person and company) along the bottom of the thumbnail.
Improved
- Turn-by-turn now sets off in the direction you're already driving instead of opening with a U-turn; a U-turn is only planned when it genuinely saves distance.
- Turn-by-turn now plans only the work still left on a dispatch, so you're never routed back over roads your crew has already cleared; finished roads are still used when they're the shortest way through.
- The Locations list now opens in alphabetical order by name, and you can click the column header to switch between A–Z and Z–A, just like the Routes list.
- Sending routes one at a time from the phone now gathers them into a single dispatch when they share an address and work type, exactly like the web app, so shared stops are counted and invoiced once.
- The Monthly overview now includes visits a subcontractor made on your addresses using their own crew, not just the call-outs you dispatched to them; you can remove visits or passes and correct work types, and approvals are applied correctly on the right call-out.
- On the live map, subcontractors now see only their own routes, drivers and trails (plus work they passed on), rather than everyone on a shared dispatch.
- Downloads and exports now carry only your own location data: supplier overviews and certificates credit work to the subcontractor you actually handed it to, and companies further down the chain no longer appear in your files.
- Subcontractors now see the customer name and address details they need for the job, but no longer your customer numbers, invoice references, billing emails or pricing; company and staff names are always shown the way you know them.
Fixed
- Files attached while creating a new dispatch now upload and save correctly instead of failing.
- The supplier overview now includes revenue for work your subcontractors passed on, which it previously missed.
- The month you select on the Monthly overview list now stays selected when you open a sheet or return from a day's view.
