Address sharing, invitation tracking, and smarter drawing tools

This release brings clearer address sharing between contractors and subcontractors, better visibility into invitations, and a range of improvements to drawings, routes and pricing.

New

  • Price regulation can now adjust the prices in an address's Extra fees table (materials and fees such as salt, standby fees or call-out charges), not just work prices. Pick the new Extra fees regulation type, optionally choose which fees to regulate, enter a percentage and confirm.
  • Address invitations now show who answered them and when. The invitations drawer has new Pending, Accepted and Declined tabs, and the list of invitations you've sent gains an Answered column naming the person who accepted or declined and the time.
  • Subcontractors can now attach their own photos and documents to an address they've been assigned, on any plan including Free. Attachments save and delete instantly, and a subcontractor can choose which of its own files its drivers see.
  • The Addresses page now has a From column for subcontractors, naming the contractor that sent each address; click a name to filter the list to that contractor's addresses.
  • Road routes now show whether their optimal drive is ready, with a status under the map that reads "Building optimal route" and then "Optimal route ready" once SnowManager has worked out the best way to drive the painted roads.

Improved

  • The Offers page now keeps your place, remembering your tab, search, page, which customers you had open and how far you'd scrolled, so closing a drawing or coming back returns you exactly where you left off.
  • Profile pictures now load instantly everywhere they appear, and uploading one is quicker, on both the web and mobile apps.
  • An address's internal description is now private to the business that wrote it. Subcontractors get their own internal description on each assigned address, and the owner can see their subcontractors' descriptions, each labelled with the subcontractor it came from.
  • Opening another business's drawing is now view-only, showing the full drawing and export with the drawing tools hidden and a "view only" label, instead of letting you draw and then failing to save.
  • Subcontractors now see where a shared address came from: the address details show the contractor under Origin and your own business as the Contractor doing the work, replacing the previous misleading "Own" origin and red warning.
  • Subcontractors now see and work on an address only after accepting its invitation; declining ends access. Invitation previews still show the address, drawings, photos, files and tags before you accept or decline.
  • A new company's first road route now opens on its own address instead of defaulting to Copenhagen.
  • In the drawing editor, picking a swatch while on Select, Select corners or Text now puts your last-used drawing tool back in your hand so you can start drawing straight away.

Fixed

  • When the owner of an address edits a subcontractor's drawing, shapes now keep the tool they were drawn with, so their colours, kinds and price categories no longer change unexpectedly.
  • The red "Missing business" warning on an address now appears only when an address you own has nobody assigned to it.
