Seasonal subcontractor billing, single-address reports, and better call-out handling
This release brings clearer subcontractor billing, a new per-address customer report, and a range of improvements to dispatch, call-outs, and rate cards.
New
- Single-address customer report: Generate a PDF for a period's work at one address, including a priced summary from that address's rate card, a line for every pass (including visits marked as not possible), any complaints raised, and a numbered photo appendix.
- Seasonal subcontractor billing: Rate card rows can now settle with a subcontractor per completed task or as a season total, following whatever the customer is on by default. The subcontractor cost sits right beside the season price, and seasonal installments can be given real schedules with dates and uneven amounts that must total the season price. The seasonal screen now shows both what customers owe and what each seasonally-paid subcontractor is owed.
- A home for cancelled work: Cancelled addresses and runs now have their own tab, label, and colour, and each cancelled run shows who called it off, when, and why.
Improved
- Contractors now answer each route they were handed on its own row and confirm once; the answer stands as a lasting decision, admins can respond to a company's invitation from the phone, and a refusal can no longer affect a pass the crew has already driven.
- On a zone call-out, a contractor can call off just its own run without affecting the rest of the zone.
- Addresses that couldn't be completed ("not possible") are now billed like a completed visit since the crew still travelled there; the office and mobile app ask for a reason and record the time, and the reason now appears in the customer's report.
- A stop that's already settled now tells you what settled it, when, and by whom.
- The dispatch list now opens on the work still to be done.
- Sidebar badges now refresh within about ninety seconds instead of up to ten minutes.
- Rate cards now clearly show who pays and who is paid.
- A route can now name the work types it must never be called out for, and each company can decide which work type comes first.
- The BYGST export now matches the format of the files ISS sends back.
Fixed
- Saving an address that would lose money on every visit now warns you before the save goes through.
