v1.14.0
Inventory module overhaul, smarter shift scheduling, and richer GPS trails
This release brings a major overhaul of inventory (stock) management, automatic and editable shift scheduling, and clearer, road-following worker trails on the live map — plus a redesigned personal profile experience and several fixes.
New
- Inventory (Lager) module: the former Consumables feature is now a full inventory-management module with SKU, barcode, unit price and unit of measure, per-line price snapshots, and flexible recipients (team, location or worker). It includes a self-service point-of-sale flow with QR codes, a PIN pad, a "Return" mode, continuous camera and handheld barcode scanning, label and catalog-sheet printing, and a dedicated tablet "Inventory Station" layout.
- Automatic shift scheduling: shifts now generate automatically and continuously from durable template-to-worker assignments, so the schedule no longer runs dry. Templates can be edited (with apply options that protect approved, clocked and past shifts), you can manage "Workers by Template", group the week grid by template, and configure how far ahead shifts roll.
- Personal profile settings: a new personal profile dialog lets any user update their photo, name, phone, language, email and password, separate from HR-controlled fields. The user card now includes an account menu with User settings and Log out.
- Live-map day replay & photos: replay a whole day of a team's movements with a timeline scrubber, see worker profile photos on map markers and the sidebar, and filter to workers with a GPS fix today.
- Road-snapped GPS trails: worker paths now follow the streets actually driven instead of straight lines, across the live map, day replay, selected-worker overlay and route popup.
- GPS tracking mode: admins can now choose a tracking mode in Business settings — no GPS or live GPS while clocked in — with live tracking available to everyone.
Improved
- Unified navigation: the sidebar's expandable sub-links and the top tab strip now show together, so you can navigate either way at any time; the user card is pinned to the bottom of the sidebar.
- Unsaved-changes protection in Settings: you're now warned before leaving Settings with unsaved changes, and the Business settings have a cleaner two-column layout. Shift-related options moved to a renamed Shifts tab.
- Route popup: map pins are now interactive — click a pin to select the stop, scroll to it in the timeline, and open a detail popup with customer, address, visit window, notes and photo thumbnails. Stops now appear in the order they were actually driven, with transport-time chips between each pair.
- Trail map clarity: worker trails now distinguish movement (solid line), gaps with no GPS fix (dashed) and stationary dwells (amber bubbles sized by duration), so standing still no longer looks like a tracking failure.
- Route planning sidebar: the route schedule editor is now tucked into a collapsible section with a one-line summary, keeping the narrow sidebar uncluttered.
Fixed
- Profile save error: editing your own profile no longer fails with a "Start date is required" error.
- Edit Profile button on the shift-screen worker sidebar now opens the dialog correctly.
- Saving one Settings tab no longer resets fields on another tab.
- Customer portal logo now loads correctly instead of showing a broken image, and Danish text in the customer dashboard displays with the correct characters.
- Mobile GPS reliability: GPS fixes are now buffered when a send fails and flushed later at their correct locations, and duplicate location pings from retries are prevented.
