v1.12.0
GPS worker tracking, AI service-agreement import, richer dashboards & more
This release brings live worker location tracking, an AI-assisted way to import service agreements, a big upgrade to Service Points, and a more detailed team route view on the dashboard — plus navigation options and fixes.
New
- Live GPS tracking for clocked-in workers: when enabled for your company, the mobile app reports a worker's location in the background while they're on the clock, capturing an accurate on-site trail. You can turn this on and set the reporting interval under Settings.
- AI-assisted service-agreement import: upload an Excel, PDF, or Word file and let SaberTask extract locations and service agreements for you to review and confirm before saving.
- Per-location pricing on service types: set prices for a service type on a per-location basis.
- Sidebar navigation mode: each user can now choose how tabbed pages appear — either as the familiar horizontal tab strip or as expandable sub-links in the sidebar. Your choice is remembered, and you can also edit your profile from the new user menu on the sidebar.
- Bulk-translate work descriptions: a new action under Settings → AI Usage translates all of your existing work descriptions into the languages you choose, clearing any untranslated backlog on demand.
Improved
- Service Points overhaul:
- Areas can now have an active season (a recurring date window), so seasonal areas automatically appear and hide on the mobile home and worker queue.
- Set a standard service frequency per area; assets without their own interval inherit it automatically.
- Service points are now numbered per type (e.g. "Bin 1", "Drain 1") instead of one running number across everything.
- Deleting a service point now deactivates it, so it stays findable under the Inactive filter with its history intact.
- Reported issues can now be marked as fixed, with a clear "Issue fixed" badge once resolved.
- The map view is easier to use: the left overview is grouped by service type with collapsible sections, per-type show/hide and select-all, multi-select checkboxes for moving points to an area, in-map address search, and clearer filters and mode controls.
- Richer team route detail on the dashboard: the team route popup now shows what actually happened at each stop — completion notes, license plate, photos with a lightbox, signatures, start/finish times, who worked the stop (with photos), and the planned work for the current week.
Fixed
- The Tasks tab on a customer's view now shows only ad-hoc tasks, matching the main Tasks page; planned service-agreement tasks no longer appear there.
- Completed route stops that previously showed as "nothing done" in the team route popup now display their details correctly.
- Fixed the left navigation sidebar overflowing on iPad Safari, which could cut off the logout button.
